Brutus

Brutus is a male grey marble shorthair tabby cat.

Brutus was a part of a colony of feral cats, but the caretaker of the colony fell in love with Brutus and brought him to live indoors as his companion pet. Unfortunately, Brutus' owner passed away and Brutus was stuck in the home for some time before being found. Because of this, Brutus is quite shut down and a little traumatized.

Brutus can be hissy and growly at first, but he is actually very gentle and sweet. Once he feels comfortable with you, he will blossom into the snuggliest and most affectionate cat you've ever met. He loves to be pet and have his belly rubbed and has the loudest motor.

Brutus is currently scared of sudden movements and loud noises. He would thrive in a calm, quiet home with an owner who can spend lots of time with him and give him the patience he needs to be adopted. Brutus is great with other friendly cats and would probably do well with a friend.
