Acorn
Acorn is a black and white tuxedo domestic shorthair cat. She is a shy but sweet and affectionate mom of 4 who has wrapped up her duties of motherhood and is looking to be doted on for the rest of her life.
Acorn was originally trapped with the intention to TNR (trap, neuter, release) but it was discovered shortly after she was spayed that she had a litter of young kittens to care for! She was returned to her family and gathered all her babies up to move them to a new location. There, she was found by a community member who was taking care of the neighbourhood's feral cats and brought into rescue for a second time - this time with her babies Pistachio, Cashew, Filbert and Peanut.
Acorn was too friendly to go back to the streets and her young kits showed signs of being open to socialization, so now they have come to Catoro for further socialization and adoption! Acorn has opened up tremendously to us, and is now a major attention hog! If you bend down to pet another cat, Acorn will appear out of nowhere to shove herself between you. She's still very playful and loves to wrestle with other cats and chase a laser dot. Acorn is amazing with other cats and we'd love to see her go home with one of her kiddos.
